1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our applications, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, and usage data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to communicate with you, and to personalize your experience.

3. Website Analytics and Error Reporting

We measure how our website is used with Bitlitic Ops, our own analytics and error-reporting system. Bitlitic LLC runs it itself on a virtual server rented from Hostinger in Boston, USA; Hostinger acts only as our hosting provider. This covers all of bitlitic.com, including the Glimmer, Flick and GREPrep pages it serves. Our apps describe what they send in their own privacy policies.

Analytics uses a self-hosted copy of Umami (analytics.ops.bitlitic.com). It records the pages you view and a few actions (such as button clicks, email links, links to other sites and contact-form submissions, never what you type), the referring site, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language, and an approximate location (country, region and city) derived from your IP address. It sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking. Your IP address itself is not stored: visits are grouped using a hash that changes every month. No advertising identifiers, names or email addresses are sent.

If a script on our website fails, your browser sends an error report to our error-reporting service (OpenTelemetry, at otel.ops.bitlitic.com, stored in our own Grafana stack): the error message, stack trace, site version, the page address, and your browser and operating system. It never includes form contents or anything you typed.

Bitlitic Ops data is not sold or shared with third parties, and is not used for advertising or to track you across other websites or apps. Error reports are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted automatically.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Our applications may integrate with third-party services. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
